Non-Adjusting Isolation Lock (NAIL and NAIL II)
Prevent water valves from being turned and have the assurance valves stay in the desired "open" or "closed" position.
The NAIL water valve lockout is designed to enclose and completely surround the valve nut. Place the NAIL locking device over the valve nut, hinge close, and secure with padlock (sold separately - lock hole size 7/16" diameter).
- NAIL: Fits operating nuts with raised stems in valve wells 8" in diameter or larger.
- NAIL II: Fits all standard 2" square operating nuts in valve wells 6" in diameter or larger.
- Made of schedule 40 steel with protective coating which reduces corrosion and increases longevity.
- Available in ANSI or APWA colors:
Red - RD, Yellow - YL, Blue - BU, and Green - GN

Installation Instructions - 3 Easy Steps
NAIL
1) Open locking device by pulling handles apart.
2) Lower locking device onto valve nut.
3) Close handles to hook underneath valve nut and install standard padlock.
NAIL II
1) Push in handle assembly to engage gearing and turn counterclockwise to fully open valve locking device.
2) Lower locking device onto valve nut utilizing centering guides and turn the handle clockwise and firmly tighten valve locking device (to 20 PSI or greater).
3) Pull the handle up to disengage and place standard paddock onto the D-ring.
